The Mount Gravatt Showgrounds respectfully acknowledges the Yuggera and Turrbal peoples as the Traditional custodians of the lands and waterways in the area we work. This area is known as Kaggur-madul (or Caggara-mahbill), meaning "place of echidnas” and we pay our respects to their Elders past, present, and emerging, as well as to all First Nations communities that significantly contribute to the life of the area.
