Upper Community Hall
This Community Hall was originally the office building of the Evans Deakin Company at Rocklea. It was moved to the showgrounds in 1996, its refurbishment has seen it develop into a unique, multi-room venue for weddings and other private and corporate functions.
The building is divided into two separate hire-able spaces: the Upper Community Hall and the Lower Community Hall.

Weddings, engagements and other family celebrations, wakes and large meetings

Weekday Hire (Monday to Thursday)
Minimum hire: 3 hours
7:00 AM – 5:00 PM: $50.00 per hour
5:00 PM – 9:00 PM: $70.00 per hour
Security Bond: $270.00 (Refundable; conditions apply)
Weekend Hire (Friday to Sunday)
Hire available between 7:00 AM – 11:00 PM
Half-Day Rate (up to 6 hours): $580.00
Full-Day Rate (more than 6 hours): $900.00
Security Bond: $550.00 (Refundable; conditions apply)
