The Mt Gravatt Showgrounds has been serving the changing needs of this community for over 100 years. The day to day and longer-term management of the Showgrounds is undertaken by the Mount Gravatt Showgrounds Trust (Trust) who must, as part of its responsibilities, look at how the site is to be managed into the future.
The Trust is refreshing its Master Plan for the Showgrounds. In addition to hosting the annual Mt Gravatt Show, the Showgrounds also serves as a Precinct fulfilling a variety of needs of the Mt Gravatt community. The aim of this review is to ensure the Showgrounds/Precinct continue to meet the needs of the Mt Gravatt community into the future and is valued by the community. In short, that the Showgrounds becomes more of a community hub incorporating an enhanced range of community activities.
